Pricing for Subcontracting Services
At LovEm Group, we are committed to providing clear and transparent pricing for both our clients and subcontractors. Our pricing structure is designed to be fair and competitive for all parties involved while ensuring the highest quality of work on every project.
We work with businesses of all sizes and government entities, offering flexible pricing models based on the scope of work and the specific requirements of each project. Whether you are a subcontractor looking to partner with us or a client seeking our services, we want you to understand how pricing works and how we ensure that all parties benefit from our collaborations.
How We Charge Our Clients
Fixed-Price Contracts
For well-defined projects with specific outcomes, we offer a fixed-price contract. This pricing structure is used when the scope of work is clear, and both parties agree on the cost upfront. It helps clients know exactly what they will pay, and our subcontractors will be paid according to the agreed-upon price for the service rendered. Common for: Construction, IT support, and janitorial services. Advantages: Budget certainty for the client, clear project scope.
Retainer Agreements
For long-term clients who require consistent services (e.g., janitorial services, ongoing IT support, etc.), we offer retainer agreements. This model ensures that LovEm Group is available to the client for a set period (monthly, quarterly, etc.) for a fixed fee. This provides predictable pricing for both us and the client. Common for: IT support, janitorial services, and property maintenance. Advantages: Continuous availability, long-term relationship.
Time-and-Materials (T&M) Contracts
When the scope of work is less clear, or the project may require ongoing support or changes, we offer a time-and-materials contract. With this approach, clients pay for the time worked and the materials used during the course of the project. Common for: IT support, HVAC services, and general maintenance. Advantages: Flexibility for ongoing projects, scalability to meet the client’s needs.
Government Contracts
For government contracts, we follow the pricing guidelines and terms specified in the solicitation or contract. These often include specific requirements for labor rates, materials costs, and contractual obligations. Common for: Grease removal services, janitorial services, and other federal service requirements. Advantages: Stability of work, long-term government relationships. Common for: Construction, IT support, and janitorial services. Advantages: Budget certainty for the client, clear project scope.
How We Pay Our Subcontractors
Hourly Payments
For projects where the work is based on time spent, subcontractors are compensated at an agreed-upon hourly rate. Subcontractors will track their hours, and payment will be made biweekly or monthly depending on the contract. For example: An IT specialist working on a time-and-materials project will submit an invoice based on hours worked, and payment will be issued according to the terms of the contract.
Milestone-Based Payments
For larger or more complex projects, subcontractors will be paid based on milestones or project phases. As certain phases of the project are completed, payment will be issued. This structure helps ensure that subcontractors are compensated as they hit project deliverables. For example: An HVAC subcontractor may be paid after each phase of installation (e.g., after ductwork installation, after system testing, etc.).
Fixed-Price Payments
For fixed-price contracts, subcontractors will be paid a pre-determined amount for the completion of specific tasks or deliverables. These payments will be made in installments or upon completion of milestones outlined in the agreement. For example: A construction subcontractor hired to complete a section of a building may be paid upon completion of that section, with partial payments made throughout the project. Common for: IT support, HVAC services, and general maintenance. Advantages: Flexibility for ongoing projects, scalability to meet the client’s needs.
Retainer Payments
For ongoing projects, subcontractors may receive a monthly retainer if they are responsible for consistent services (e.g., ongoing janitorial services, IT support, etc.). This ensures that subcontractors have a predictable and reliable income stream. For example: A cleaning company providing ongoing services to a government office may receive a monthly retainer fee for their services.
